My buddies 07 wolvy did exactly the same thing this weekend. It will not run at unless choke is on. It acts like it is starving of fuel but we checked the fuel line and it was getting fuel to the carb.

i just cleaned the carb on one of my 06's wolvies cause it was running really rich. and i figured it might be cause i moved to a higher altitude but now it's doing exactly what yours is doing. it will idle fine with the choke all on but when you take the choke off it just dies. i haven't had time to mess with it. when i figure it out i'll let you know

dealers are ignorant and stupid i'm deffinately not a fan. you spend 6grand and they don't want to tell you crap. like when i broke my woodruff key. i explained to the dealers what was wrong and they were like you would have to bring it in. eventually after calling enough places i found one that told me exactly what it is and even offered to pull the stator for me if i brought it in. so now i buy everything from them.

Is your air filter clogged? Have you guys jetted for altitude or was your bike jetted in the cold weather? A bike that is set up in winter and runs fine might not in spring/summer temps. What is the altitude where you are? It seems that all bikes come from the factory set up for sea level and will run rich over 2000ft. I live at 5000+ and changing the jetting made a huge difference.

lol toddmh i tell you what that chair just missed your head.
I havent had a problem with my wolvy like that yet. I am gonna pull out the manual and dig through it tonight or tomorrow for this post and another one like it.. Hopefully ill be able to help you guys out a little.

As far as the light flashing, usually mine only does it when you rev up higher while in park or neutral, its a warning to tell you not to shift into gear as you could damage something. So it could be an electrical problem causing this instead of the carb. Possibly a rev limiter acting up.
