Default will parts interchange

i have a 99 warrior that i have been having trouble keeping the rear bearings in.i have went through 3 sets in like 6 months.i have always had this guy i went to school with do the work on it .well this time to save money i thought i would do it myself.well i got it all apart and noticed the bearings broke and wore grooves in my housing and on the spacers.and the part that hold the brake rotor on has alot of play in it .well here is my question will the carrier and stuff from a banshee interchange.i found a carrier on ebay for 40 for a banshee without the bearings.i am just tryin to get out as cheap as i can because i still have to buy a brake rotor and the sprocket hub and maybe even an axle.do any of you guys know were i can get cheap stuff at.oh yeah one more question on www.bikebandits.com is their oem parts new or used.

It's not cheap, but the only way to solve the rear bearing issue once and for all is to get a $200 billett dual row or tapered carrier. Your axle should be fine. Not sure if the Banshee carrier is the same. The best thing to do is to wait and get a Warrior carrier, they are cheap on Ebay all the time. 1990-2004 Warriers used the same carrier.

no not really found out ,that is why i thought i would just completely redo the whole rearend that way i would have all new parts.to be honest i probably didnt get to ride the warrior on 10 rides with those 3 sets of bearings. i noticed the brake rotor was warped a little and the hub the rotor goes on has some play(aint sure if the splines are bad on it or the axle)in it too.the hub the sprocket mounts on has no play but the side that goes next to the housing is wore pretty good.it is a 99 model and the motor is starting to smoke alittle so i am really debating were to put 600 or 700 into this 4 wheeler or not .i like it and as far as the motor i want to rebuild it anyways , but that is alot of money if it doesnt fix it.

Alot of rear brake rotors I see are warped. Just bend them back into shape - no big deal. Also there is usually some play in the rotor hub. Also no big deal unless it is excessive. If I were you I would just replace the bearing carrier and get on with life.

The reason the bearings were going bad is probably because the carrier is damaged where the seal fits on the sprocket side, and the seal didn't seal good and let mud and water into the bearings. So if you buy a used carrier, make sure it's not damaged the same way. Still, a new dual row carrier is a life saver - tapered is better, but more expensive. The factory carriers are junk.
