Default CV boots

I have punctured 2 boots in my last 2 rides. Is there another boot that may fit (automotive possibly) my 2006 kodiak 450. Dealer prices are high. Auto parts may be less. Does anyone know of other items that fit and are less costly than OEM parts?

Which boots? Inner / Outer? Front? Back? (Probably Front-Inner). I had to replace 1 boot (Front-Inner) and I bought the Moose boot kit for $15, had to buy a banding tool for another $15.

Sounds like you need to purchase Yamaha's Kevlar cloth bootie covers. I have heard good things about them. I am considering getting them for my Front Outer CV Boots though I haven't bought them yet... as I have Killer protection for my inner cv boots up front... Back right outer and then back right inner. I have steel guards to protect the cv. I ride some real gnarly trails, and some places where we make our own trails. Do you have more info on the kevlar boots?
