Default Lift or tires?

ok i have a few opinions on this thread.....thought i would toss in my two cents...

swamplites are a nice tire...but be forwarned they are a heavy tire.....and we all know that the 450 is not a huge powerhouse...i really wanted the same tires but opted for the new maxxis zillas....they are quite a bit lighter and as far as being a good trail tire.... i am very happy with them...

i run 26 inch with the clutch kit and a locker......very good in the deep stuff and pretty damn good on the trails still.......

miassmaro98.... have you had any issues with your locker yet? how many times have you had it out since the kit has been installed? just wondering as i have mine out on the bench at the moment....had about 4 or 5 runs on it and it seemed to only lock the one wheel and not let go at all.....so i took it apart and i think it is the spacer problem....big one is to big but the small one leaves a little gap and from what i see it causes one of the clutch disks to pop out....i picked up a shim and put it together and seems like it will be good now.....not sure if it was like that from the begining or not......could be it all set in place after a few rides and needed a little tweaking by adding the shim....anyways let me know how yours is holding up....

Default Lift or tires?

Thanks for all the input guys.

I am actually going to be documenting the wolverines transformation over the next few weeks..I am gonna go ahead and get the perfex long travel kit...some 25 swamp lites or mud lites....and its going from yamaha white...to black with some custom airbrushing by one of my friends...were putting claw marks on the side that looks like they have been made by the wolverine comic book charecter with a custom wolverine logo under it. AFter this Im going to work on my Raptor 700 for a month...I alternate every month so they get equal play time...but ill be posting pics....it's gonna be a bad little project...around july Ill be adding a cam and front locker and clutch kit.....after the raptor gets alittle attention.
