Back firing blaster..
#1
Alright well a few months ago i tried starting my blaster for the first time after i rebuilt my engine. i got everything on there and ready to go and i tried to kick it and it wouldnt come back up, figured it was something with the return spring.. well after that i tried popping the clutch to start it and it started fine but as i got in to the high RPM's it back fired on me and stalled. just wondering if this would be a problem with the carb or something else?
thanks

did you jet it after the build? sounds like its to lean. what does the plug look like? put in a fresh plug, start it up and take it out for a ride. get it wound up to around 3rd gear and shut it off at the top of third. let it coast to stop and pull the plug. if its white, thens it too lean. be careful and don't get burnt! lol
