Are these good reliable quads for trail riding or would a 300ex or a ltz400 be a better guess. The reason i ask about these three particular quads is that i have found deals on them locally. thanks

I agree. I wouldn't bother with a 300ex(thats just my opinion). I am biased towards the warrior as I have a '00 model. I love it and its awesome on the trails. sure its not the fastest thing out there but I can keep up with raptors, 400ex's, etc and go just about anywhere the utes go.

Warrior is a good all-around quad. 300EX sucks and 400Z is faster, but it's a Suzuki!

I had a '99 warrior, and it was an awesome trail bike. I ride with both a 300ex and 400ex and kept up no problem. The motor is forward on warrior which makes it a great climber. I wanted more power; put a cam in it and high output stator, kn filter. Made a difference but still wanted more (that's how this sport works I guess!!) I looked at suzuki, seemed like a decent platform.... bought a Raptor. Love Raptor power, but I think Warrior is a better trail machine. If I were a honda guy I'd get a 400ex, but I'm not so Yamaha all the way!!
