Default Aftermarket skid plates

Hey guys, new to the forum. (That's all I need...another forum to be on!!) Anyway thanks for the info I have already collected!! I have an '07 700 Grizz and am debating on some aftermarket skid plates. I have thought about it for a while but now that I have a factory a-arm protector not staying in place (the little factory clip just doesn't cut it) I'd like to get something different. I priced the Warn brands at Montanna Jacks and it comes to just over $500 for the whole thing and another $150 just to ship it to Alaska! WOW! What do you guys think? I'd still like to be able to access anything under during routine maintenance.

I ride by myself quite often here in Alaska and I prefer as much protection as I can get. Help can sometimes be a LONG ways off!! Anyway, thanks again.
