Default Grizzly 700 has no power

I have 08 grizzly 700. It runs gets and had awesome power, so I thought. I rode a freinds grizzly 700 that is just like mine. His rips off the line and does wheelies, it put mine to shame. His is the same as mine only has lots more power and goes really fast. Mine will only go 55 mph or so [img]i/expressions/brokenheart.gif[/img]
I have heard about the wheelies these things will do, not mine, not even in low.

I have checked to make sure the throttle limiter is not the problem. Filter is clean. Good gas. What else could it be? I was thinking that maybe when the throttle lever is wide open the engine is not. Kinda like the limiter is limiting it, but it is something else keeping it from opening up.

Ask your friend if he has any mods done to it. 55mph is slow for a griz, but it is a utility quad

My friends quad has no mods. Mine and his are exactly the same, only I have a K&N filter and he does not.

assuming it is still new, bring it into the dealer and see if they can find anything wrong, tell them it is 'gutless' in comparrison to your friends 700. Not being able to wheelie in even LOW tells me that something is wrong.

I'm not sure on the hours, it has 270 miles on it. I purchased it new in April of 2008.
