2007 Yamaha 450 Grizzly Tech ?'s
Hello
This is my first post. I have a 2007 450 Grizzly. I recently put a set of 26" mudlites on it and looking to do a clutch kit and jet it. Can anyone recommend a good stage 1 or stage 2 jet kit? and as far as clutch kits go, I hear EPI makes a good kit but not sure if i should just go with the one meant for 27" tires.
ANy input would be great. I am handy with a wrench, is a clutch tool needed?
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Site Rob! I am still running stockers (tire) on my machine but there are a few guys on here who do run the 26" tires and did get clutch kits.. I am sure one of them will chime in! Once my stockers die out.. I am going with 25" Maxxis Bighorns - they will suit my needs just fine up here in New England.
Overall the Kodiak/Grizzly 450 is a great machine! I love mine! I have made some custom skid plates for it... still have a few more to make... as well as make a thicker belly skid and thicker rear diff skid.. those cheapo 1/8" ones from Yamaha are ok.. but too thin.. so 1/4" it is !!! Yea I love them.. some much nicer wheeling now and not taking out these footwells and the footwell "Arms"/brackets. I am fortunate enough to have access to a machine shop at work.. I simply make the patterns out of cardboard... get a nice fit... then my buddy at work makes the Solidworks model - then all I need to do is buy the Aluminum. Then I drop it off at the shop.. and 2-3 weeks sometimes 2-3 months it is done.. but the price is right! FREE! so for the cost of the AL - I get what I want
If you want - I can give ya the solid model... you can have some fabbed up

Ok.. what cad s/w do you use... I am sure I can have my buddy save it in another format... those skids are only made from 3/16" which is really thick enough.. but for the main skids down the middle of the quad.. those will all be 1/4"
Can't really sell them.... since they are not made by me... and I am not paying for the machine work.. ya know?
