banshee vs 660 raptor
I'd keep your 400ex its the better ATV.
The banshee is quick not fast but quick , but you'll put more money in that motor then any other ATV. that thing go's thought top ends like you wouldn't believe ...
The Raptor is over rated................ Your move bro.
GO BIG OR GO HOME>>>>

^ where do you get your info? i have had the same topend on my old banshee for 3 years, thats 250 hours and its at 110 psi, almost time to rebuild, for the great power and extra fun the banshee will be worth it, as long as it aint **** you have to go through lots of things when getting a used banshee, compression test, latest rebuild, plug color and bushings hape etc. for 400 every say 4 years of riding is a small price to pay for a rebuilt top end, if something goes wrong its obviously an error that you have made, i.e incorrect jetting, wrong oil, overheating, sucking up dirt or water, take care of a banshee and it takes care of you, the banshee is a beast to handle although

My first question to them would be why they are so hot to trade an 01 banshee or an 02 Raptor for an 01 non reverse air cooled 400EX. The banshee I can understand maybe just wanting to get a 4 stroke......but it seems to me that the Raptor guy would obviously be trading down......why would he do that if his Rap is in good shape with no problems? Either way......just be careful of what you might be getting......you don't want to trade your good machine for someone elses problems.

the banshee just had a rebuild with numerous new parts so im kinda worried about that one. the guy with the raptor trail rides alot and wants a 400ex since they are gravy in the trails. only thing wrong with the raptor is the choke cable is broke which is no big deal. either way i go i will be test riding both of them.

Banshee's are awesome but going from a 400EX to a Banshee is kind of like getting off of a mechanical bull and getting on a real one. They are a handful to ride on the trails.
Also I made the conversion to 4 strokes years ago. I was reminded why last Friday - I was by myself riding my buddies Blaster for a few minutes and it fouled a plug in the middle of the woods and I had no extra plug and no tools - so I had to walk home. I know if he had it jetted right, it wouldn't have fouled, but I can't remember the last time my 660 or Warrior left me stranded.
