Default dont shift right

hi... i have a yamaha 250 timberwolf 96, and i jus changed the oil on it and as soon i got done i took it 4 a spin and it does not shift right.. the lil peg that u shft with seems sloppy and loss and somtimes it will not **** to the next gear it will b to hard 2 shift up.. and i dont no if the to r related.. i am new to owning a 4 wheelr so please reply if u no wat could b rong with it!!

you used regular motor oil didnt you. that is a BIG no no. get some Yamalube or Valvoline ATV oil as those 2 have the additives in the oil for the wet clutch to operate normally. NEVER use car oil in an ATV or motorcycle.
