Hey everyone,

My buddy has a 02 Blaster that he is selling. I've personally never seen the thing but he said it ran great.

He blew the motor in it and said its completely ceased up. He wants $400.00 for the bike. What all could be wrong if the motor ceased up and worse case scenario does anyone know a round about price it would fix the worse case scenario.

Im really tight on my budget and dont want to but a bike that is going to tke 1k dollars to fix. then I'm up at 1400 and I could have went out and put a good down payment on a new bike for that.

What I really want to know is, is it worth buying?

 

If the motor is locked I'd leave it alone

 

Worst case get engine off ebay. Guessing between 500-1000.

 

I realize this is an older post but typically the piston breaks and the pieces jam up in the bottom of the case. Just make sure the bottom of case looks ok, ya you still stand a risk but for 400 I don't see how you can go wrong or at least I would take it.
