I just wanted some opinions. I was looking into buying this one http://raleigh.craigslist.org/mcy/780563557.html just for a toy to play around on, but what do you guys think?

Well, what I should have asked is, should I get the 3 wheeler, or get a YFZ 450 or Raptor 600 or 700? I can get a nice 450 for around $3000 and a nice 700 for around $4500, and a 660 for around $2500. I know they are totally different machines from the Tri-Z, but I won't be riding much for the next year or so due to a baby on the way, so really what I needed was just something to ride with the boys every now and then and just something to play on around the house. What would ya'll do?

those tri z's will haul *** no joke...those are very quick wheely happy bikes, since i guess you wont be riding much, i wouldnt think u wud need a 450 or a raptor and the tri z is way cheaper and faster than the quads, plus u would really get some attention on that thing

Yeah I tend to like to have a different machine than everyone else - I just don't want to kill myself!! The Tri-Z's will only run about 65 mph stock, which is similar to a 400EX, but it feels like you're going 100 because they aren't as stable as something on 4 wheels. What about the price, seems a little steep to me, but you just can't find these 3 wheelers anymore? Just for comparison, I bought an '85 Tri-Z about 14 years ago for $600 that was in pretty good shape.

Well, I couldn't decide, so I ended up getting a 700 and I bought a Tri-Z the other day. I'll post pics of the Tri-Z soon. It's the 85-1/2 Black/Red version. I got if from the original owner, and it was mostly all original - it even still had the original front tire on it!

Well, if you live anywhere close to NC, we can line 'em up. If not, my buddy is restoring a 350X, I'd like to get with him and do a couple of runs to see who's faster. I'm curious to find out which will win, too. It should be a good race.
