Yamaha HElP ME PLEASE

it is possible that you have an internal problem too. If you lost compression it may start for just a bit and then quit. Not sure how long it runs, you said that it wouldn't start. I had one with a broke ring and it would fire but after a short time bog and die. I would check the compression for sure if you think it is possible the oil injection is plugged.

That is kinda what I figured. Did the motor ever lock up? if it did you need to take a look at the bottom of the motor to make sure that the engine case isn't broke. If it didn't lock up you probably just need to clean motor out and change the piston. The Blasters are noted for breaking the piston on the intake side of it. Like blaster24 said it isn't a huge job changing it, just when you do make sure that there are not pieces of the piston that are stuck in the rod bearing. I like to pull the motor out and wash it out with gas oil mixture after the cylinder is off. If you don't really know what you are doing I would recommend finding a local engine guy to do it for you. It wouldn't be that expensive to do. We change our piston on our race Blaster every 7 race days which is 14 races.

I should add though, if you think that you have a problem with the oil injector make sure you fix that too. I personally get rid of the injection and premix the gas. That way you know for sure the oil is getting in there.
