2 stroke problems
OK WELL THIS is actually a boat motor........ tahatsu 25 or something like that well any ways my brother took it out and added gas but didnt mix any oil with it and prolly ran it 15-20 min on the water stopping and fishing and then goin again. what should i do to try to get it running again he said he tried to start it when he was on his way back in and had to troll the last 30 yds bcs it wouldent turn over... so any suggestions are apprecitated thanks

well i tried the boat out today and finaly got it to turn over... so we rode around with it for a while and we ran a lil more oil than normal to loosen every thing up... it was a learning experience lol this was my first time to take the truck (5 speed) and me and my friend gott it in the water and out the water with out a problem.... that was my first time to do that with a stick shift.. its not that easy......

I would make sure I kept the trolling motor battery charged at all times and keep some oars with you, cause if the crank did indeed lock up and now it's freed up again, it's only a matter of time before it craps out again. The damage has been done.
Also be careful how much oil you run, too much oil is almost just as bad than not enough oil. If you run too much oil, that leans the amout of fuel out, which can also blow up the engine by overheating. You want the oil mixture just right, usually 50:1 for a boat motor, and consistant mixes every time.

and i would suggest taking a spare spark plug or two with you as well. if your running more oil than usual, you could end up with a fouled plug. when i go out riding my big bear, i always have 2 new plugs and the tools needed to change the plug. and yes, it has happened. 5 bucks insurance on 2 plugs saved my *** on watching everyone else go ride.
