I'm going to buy a Venom winch for my Wolverine in a day or two,and see they offer both 2000 and 3000lb winches.The price difference is hardly anything,but I was just wondering if the 3000lb winch is even necessary on a 500 pound 450?Can any unforeseen issues come up from getting a a 3000 pound winch instead of the 2000,which is my original choice?with regards to the units size/clearances,etcThanks.

 

My 2500 pulls my 700lb ATV out of anything,I would think 2000 is plenty on a Wolverine and weighs less than a 3000.
