Default Clutch problems

Ok so i know my clutch is smoked and i have been to all the different websites but there are like 5 different brands and i was looking for some bullet proof recommendations

it all depends on how much you want to spend. are you just going to replace the clutch and friction disks or are you going to go all out and get a machined clutch basket and new pressure plate with the new disks? like i said, it all depends on how much you want to spend. you can get out of it for as little as 50 bucks or go way higher, like 200 to 300 bucks for the mac daddy.

edit: how do you ride this machine? hard? you race it? or does it just put around the yard?

I trail ride mostly, some times swamp the bitch in some mudd, pull wheelies everywhere i can no race hard on it yea i guess everyone beats on there quad

get OEM plates and disks or EBC plates and disks, some people even when racing use the stock clutches, OEM clutches are sometimes the best.

I agree with 91warrior357 even shane hitt on his race 250r used an oem clutch

i would go with the tusk clutch kit and also get the heavy duty springs for the extra few bucks.... the whole kit runs for about 50 bucks. order it online at rockymountainatv/mc.com

whoa ive heard very bad things bout tusk clutches i would really try to stick with more mainstream clutch compontents. OEM or EBC is what i will always use. and as for clutch baskets and friction plates and the boss i would use Hinson or Barnett.

y is that paper clutch over the Kevlar are better wierd is all i think
