Help carbs popping off

I ride a bomb and two of my buddies ride the raptors. I haven't seen this problem on either one of theres. Really, there hasn't been any problems with theres but a little water in the choke cable that froze up(power wash). But I have read the same thing that Whittd said in other post. Get the spec.'s and adjust the clearance or contact your dealer. Good Luck.

If your quad has 20 or more hours on it get the valves adjusted. The airbox has slotted mounting holes and if u loosen the two rearmost bolts,u can slide the airbox tword the carbs. Your problem may also be a lean condition(possibly from your choke cable becoming disconnected or freezing shut), if its real cold out my raptor runs lean. Hope ive helped

stay tuned to www.atving.com they said "Further analysis determined the carbs had been blown off the intakes! It seems the retaining clamps don’t clamp the intakes tightly enough and if the motor sneezes….. look for a fix from our Sport Editor in the near future." is what they said on there staff ride in pa.
