warrior starting issues.....
I have a 2002 warrior that used to start everytime no problems. Well then is sat for a while and last week I did an oil change to get things going again. Since then....Ive noticed that it doesnt start without the choke open.
it leaks fuel from the overflow tube all the time so I removed the float and sure enough the needle was frozen. So I cleaned that out and cleaned out the main jet. Emptied the fuel tank and cleaned that out and started with a fresh tank of 93. Still.....no start.
She'll fire up If I have the choke open...and idle somewhat ok....but only with the choke open, if I close it....it stalls immediately. Its still leaking fuel a bit from the overflow tube just not asmuch.
AND....my father and I were messing around with the throttle stop screw....and we dont know if we messed up something.
Can someone help out with basic settings of that screw, maybe also air mixture adjustment? Anything else I should clean out or change to get this thing running solid. Its completely stock except for a K+N filter.

Did you stand it up on the rear wheels to remove the oil plug? If so, then your float in the bottom of the carb is stuck down, letting more fuel into the carb bowl when it's already full. This explains why there is fuel running out of the overflow tube. Sometimes you can tap on the bowl and the float will unstick. Or it may have some trash stuck in the needle/seat assembly for the float that needs cleaning out. This will also give you starting issues.
