FST....fourstroketech.net makes the 446 stroker for the Warrior. It's a +10mm which means the crank is 10mm longer than stock. This is what gives you your power and extra displacement, along with the bigger piston. The more mm's the stroker is, the more power it will add.
There are a whole lot of mods you can do to add more power before you get a stroker. The stroker is going to cost you around $1500 installed. For a lot less money you can keep up with 450's with other, more reliable mods. A JE 10.5:1 compression 366 cc piston kit from Vito's ($200), a .430" 84 grind Webcam (webcamshafts.com) with their heavy duty valve springs, (around $300), a larger +1mm Kibblewhite intake valve, port and polish ($250), and I like 14/40 gearing with lightweight 20" rear tires like the Holeshot GNCC 20x10x9". Also you need to get a filter and jet kit ($100). You can count on at least $150 machine shop fees to do all of the machining on the cylinder and valves - that's if you do the work yourself. If you get a shop to do the labor for you, you can add about $400 for labor. With this setup, you can beat modified 400's in a dragrace and keep up with them on the open trails. Your top speed will be around 65-67 mph and you will have a high-revving, fast revving Warrior.

warrior stroker?
thanks i was lookin at the hotrods 396 stroker kit ive heard soem good things about them itd end up being i think 600 for the stroker and piston then if i got it id probably get the cams and springs. do you think a 7mm crank would be a good idea to have with it? if so do u need to moddify anything for the longer crank?

You only have 1 cam, 2 valves, and 2 valve springs.
To install the stroker, the whole engine has to be torn down to nothing - cases split, transmission taken apart.....Not sure about the Hot Rods, but the 446 kit has to have some machining done to the inner cases on the windage tray. And it is recommended to have an oil cooler installed, so there is some drilling and tapping that has to be done on the clutch cover.
In my opinion, it's not a good idea to put a lot of money into a Warrior. You can't sell it for nearly what you have in it - you can barely sell it for what you have in it when it's bone stock, let alone if you dump $2,000 in the motor. The best thing to do is sell it and buy a faster bike like a 400EX or something.

Yeah nobody wants the Warriors anymore. And all I see riding Raptor 350's are girls, so you know most of them don't want one with a stroker.
My buddy has a clean all stock '04 Warrior that he has had for sell for $2000, and he can't get rid of it. If he had $1500 in the engine, he still wouldn't get $2,000 for it. There is a '95 Warrior on craigslist.com now for $900, and it has been on there for a few weeks and he can't even sell that!
I don't care what you do, I just don't want anyone making the same mistake I made. I had over $4000 in my Warrior and had to give it away for $2000. I kept having to drop the price until I finally got some interest in it. But honestly, Warriors are not really made to be modified, even if you make it fast, the suspension still sucks by today's standards.
