blaster 240
#1
i recently put the vitos 240 kit in my blaster and had the cylinder slightly ported and polished . let me say its worth every penny. this blows away my old set up which was stock bored .40 over. Top end feels endless . i got it of ebay for $489. , compared to having the old cylinder bored with a new piston kit and gaskets would have cost close to $200. so i figured for the extra $ it would be worth it . it is ! the front end likes to lift at each shift , if im turning while heavy on the throttle it wont turn , i have to let off !i do have a couple of complaints though, i miss my low end , so i have to change my gearing a little. and i probably will change the piston sooner than i need to because its cast. i would like to replace it with a forged wiseco before it fails . but still, its sick. hope this helps anyone wondering the same !

Oh ya, we run an Airsal cylinder that has been mapped and ported to the limit. The head had been shaved and oringed. I could go on and on with what we have done but not enough time. The only rules is you have to use the stock engine case and not exceed 200 cc's with one 20 thousands overbore. The power that Blaster puts out is unbelievable but is hard to race unless you are use to a pipey two stroke. Kinda sad though. The Blaster has to go, Per AMA rules we have to move to a 450 this next season and we had our last race today.

sorry to here that ! i bet that setup runs crazy fast though . as much as i love 2 strokes there is nothing wrong with the 450s . my next machine will probably be a 4 stroke with elec. start and reverse . im getting older need to take it a little easier . ha ha although it will be a 450 so i can still have fun
