check the parking brake, it has a switch that will make your quad cut out above idle, this is to prevent taking off with the parking brake on, but often the switch goes bad, causing that problem. find the 2 wire plug by the brake lever, unplug it and see if that helps. keep us informed on how it goes.

You probably have moisture from washing it in your electrical connections. Remove the seat and plastics necessary to expose the wiring harness. Disconnect battery, unplug all harness connections, spray them with WD40 (it displaces moisture) and allow to air dry. Don't forget the spark plug boot.
Then put a thin bead of #2 Permatex Make a Gasket-available at auto parts stores- on the outside of each male connector in the harness, and push the connectors back together. Put a ring around the spark plug ceramic to seal the plug boot. Check boot for cracks.
While the plastic is off, check carb vent tube for kinks /cracks, and check airbox for water. You may have gotten your filter wet. Also check the gas tank vent tube, there may be water in it.
