99 warrior wont stay running

Default 99 warrior wont stay running

im new to atvs i traded my friend my dirt bike for his warrior and it has trouble starting but when it starts it runs fine with the choke on kinda of revs high but as soon as i turn the choke off it cuts out and wont start again because the spark plug keeps getting soaked in gas. ive cleaned the carb and the filter and put a new spark plug in still has the same problem i need help im trying to ride this damn thing

Sounds like the carb is still dirty to me

Yea i would say that either you have a reed missing in the carb or its just real dirty

I had this problem once. My guess is your friend might have ran it with the choke on or halfway on most of the time. When i got my warrior the guy that had it before me ran it on half choke all the time so when i would get it running i would kill the choke and it would shut off. I ended up fixing it just by running it on half choke until it was pretty warm then i would kill the choke and try to keep it running, eventually my warrior get out of its habit on running of half choke. Idk if this helps or not but watever lol
