I'm looking at two raptors...

One nicely done 04 660, very clean, lots of aftermarket, low hours - 3200

Other is 06, very clean, very low hours, all stock - 3700


Neither have been beat or raced and are well maintained.

Is the 06 worth more? What are the suspension differences I've read about on the 06+ models?

I have 08 YFZ450 front shocks to go on whichever I choose..i heard the 06+ ahve longer wheel base to keep wheelies down. Is this true?

Do the 06+ have revised susp. geometry?

Absolutely buy the '06 700!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is a good price for an '06 and not such a good price for an '04. Not to mention the 700 is a MUCH improved machine. The 700 definately does not wheelie as bad as the 660. They did a number of things on the 700 to kepp the center of gravity low and to keep the front end down.

 

It depends on the Atfermarket mods that would determine my choice... The price on the 06 seems suspect... If possible list at least some of the mods on the 660...

 

How does the '06 price seem suspect? The '06 models are going for $3900 - 4200 in my area. I have had both a 660 and a 700 and I would take a bone stock 700 any day over a highly modded 660. The 700 is a much, much better machine.

 

Nah here in GA people tryin to tax on the 06 700 and get $4500 and its not even the SE... Another guy trying to sell a 95 Warrior for $2500... Real shhyt...
