Default A MAJOR DISAPOINTMENT......

Well this morning I get a call from my uncle saying he had got my warrior running and to come pick it up. Got it home and road it to get some gas and road for about 30 mins. Come back home for lunch and I went outside, cranked it up, and let it sit there for about 5 mins. Went to take off and it went dead.... now it will not start at all. This was also just the first time ive road this atv..... The cdi, pulse coil, votlage regulator, ignition coil, and starter relay have been replaced... basically the whole electrical system.... Any info is appriciated, Thanks.

If it will not even turn over with the starter, check the fuse under the left rear fender.

Check the wiring harness for grounds and shorts. Look especially close for chafing.

Checked all that, it has a good spark and everything. Could it be the carb?

Could be the carb, but usually if it's the carb it will start but run like crap. To eliminate the carb, a trick I used to use is I would take the sparkplug out, pour in a little bit of fresh fuel (like a 20 oz bottle top full), reinstall the sparkplug, and see if it will start. If it starts then and runs for a few seconds, you are not getting fuel to the engine. Your engine needs 4 things to run - fuel/air, compression, and spark, and it has to be at the right time. So you probably have compression, you say you have spark, so it's probably a fuel problem or a timing problem.

It is at my dads house right now so I will try that tomarrow, I took the spark plug out and checked it right after it went dead the other day and it was drenched in fuel.... I dont know what this could mean. If the cdi is bad it wouldnt be getting spark at all right?

If it was drenched in fuel, that means you should be getting fuel to the engine. You can dry it off before reinstalling by burning the fuel off with a lighter, just be careful! You don't want the sparkplug real wet like that. That is known as "flooding".

Not sure what a bad CDI will do. I never had one go out on me, but yes, one problem it could cause would be to lose spark, or possibly have a weak spark.
