Wheel spacers?
#1
Anyone have any experience with wheel spacers? I'm considering them for my stock suspension Raptor 700 but have heard they may create front end geometry issues that could adversely effect handling. I'm thinking 1.5" front and rear. Any thoughts?

Yea, There good if you want them for the correct reason. I you want a little more stability at a cheap price they work fine. But make sure you get a good set and not just look for the cheapest price. They need to be strong and light weight so they dont add to much unsprung wheel weight.
Good ones are made from billet aluminum and are cnc cut in areas to reduce weight. Dont go more than 2 inches wide because after that you put a lot of strain on the wheel bearings and they get to heavy.
Of course the best way is to go with a new suspension system all together, but that costs way more than spacers.... and always use lock tight.

ive got a set for my raptor and it was the best thing i did. the only thing is that they were expensive for wheel spacers. they are very light weight and strong. they are 2.5" each wheel front and rear. sorry, i cant remember what brand they are as i put them on about 5 years ago. i will try to find out for you.
ATVonics is right, dont go cheap on these as there are a lot of WEAK products. do your research!
