Your test was not the proper way to eliminate the solenoid and wiring as a problem. You're supposed to hook the negative jumper cable to the Warrior engine and the positive jumper cable DIRECTLY TO THE STARTER TERMINAL ON THE STARTER. This should immediately turn the starter and engine over, you won't have to hit the starter button at all, so make sure the bike is in neutral, the key is on and the kill switch is on. If it cranks over slow with the cables hooked up this way, you have a bad starter. Try it several times if it cranks right up and let the starter heat up. Sometimes a starter will work great until it gets hot.

Default 2001 yamaha electrical problem

i hooked negative 2 the engine and pos right to started and nothing happened the started did not turn at all
