I'm installing a Warn 424 on my 95 Wolverine. The instruction show removing the drive shaft seal boots (transmission to front diff). My 95 does not have them, but from 2000 on parts catalog list them. These look like they would help protect the splines. Does anybody know why Yamaha added them and if the will fit my 95? Any down sides to adding them?
