Radar Is accurate only within +/-3mph for the best laser radar. Speedometer is not within +/-5mph due to vairances of tire sizes in manufacturing as well as different tread depths companies offer, and of course tires constantly wear down. I would still bet that GPS has a better accuracy because its 12 computations is based on 12 seperate signals. Public GPS is currently way better than before but its still not down to the government spec for missile guidance.
As for the speeds I posted, I will assume they reached that high due to the jetting variances of a quick change in elevation while descending from 2600 ft to 300 ft elevation. Somewhere in between I hit an area of optimal elevation for my jetting.

Isnt there an old saying about having a good tail wind, heading downhill, with your foot (or thumb in this case) in the carb!!
