Default Bearing reference numbers

I have searched the forums but can't come up with a definitive answer and need some help. My 98 warrior is in need of new carrier bearings and I haven't pulled it apart yet. Well, in town today and would like to pick up bearings and seals....what are the size (or bearing number) so I can pick them up?

Thanks ahead of time.

PS is there a cross reference/parts list on this forum I am missing?

Little trick. Go to your Dealership buy there rip off bearings ,then bring the bearings to a bearing supply store were they will match them up for half price than return your unused bearings to the dealership for your money back.

Or bring in the old bearings if they are not dust.

Dealers are closed today and haven't tore into it yet. And it would be nice to start a thread that has all the reference numbers in it for situations like this. A few other of the forums I am on for other things do a sticky thread with references for bearing, bolts, and the normal things you go threw on a regular basis.

i also used the all ***** bearings and they lasted about 1/2 as long as the last cheap set i put in
go to a good bearing store locally and buy the quality bearings from them they usually have a few choices/grades and priced bearings all that will work

"ALL *****" NO DEAL THERE

I did my swingarm bearings on my recon and had to replace the bearings twice buying from a good quality bearings store, put OEM Honda bearings and they lasted ever since, I'd have to just pay out for stock on these, i think they were sealed bearings is why

The bearing supply stores sells sealed bearing also if thats what you ask for.

Honda,Yamaha, and so on, do not make bearings.

Bearing manufactures like NSK,F.A.G make bearings and sell them to ATV manufacturers and bearing supply stores.

My friend bought a spark plug at the Honda dealer and it came in a little red box with the Honda logo printed on it. He opened the box up and out fell a "NGK BR9ES".

Could of probably bought two or three of them for the same price at Napta.LOL

i live in a fairly big city and started calling around today and the cheepest bearings i found for the rear axel was 34 bucks and change each, seals were 6 each, dealer wanted 47 each babbits online was at 37
this is for the oem type yamaha installed back in 2000 and lasted till now
i found some cheaper bearing sets online but i know you get what you pay for and the first place has always done me right so i ordered them form motion industries they had to order them but still should be in by tomarrow 9;30

long story short good bearing cost good dollars
