its just gona coma down to 2stroke vs. 4stroke. blaster will be a bit more powerful, but since it is a 2stroke it will need to be rebuilt far more often than the raptor 250. the raptor 250 is all new and a freshly redesizned 250cc engine. if the 250 engine is anything like the one in the bigbear250's and timberwolves, it will be very durable.

you could probly pick up a blaster pretty cheap, around $1,500 in the midwest. but a raptor 250 will be lost more that that.

hope this was some fresh information

Don't get the Rap 250, get the 350. You will be hungry after just a few rides on the 250.

If money wasent a issue Id go get a 700. Honestly the power of the 700 is crazy. I rode the 350..go fer the 700. All around better bike.

I think the original question was comparing a Blaster to a Raptor 250?

No one was asking about the Raptor 350 or 700.

Most of us probably don't have a clue about the OP's money situation or how old they are or how big they are so suggesting an entirely different quad than the ones they are asking about is pointless.

I would recommend the Raptor 250 over the Blaster if you are mainly concerned with reliability/durability.

Definately the 250 Raptor over the Blaster. And honestly if given the choice I would choose the Raptor 250 over the Raptor 350 and I own both machines. The Raptor 250 handles great and the less weight is really obvious over the 350, especially when riding them back to back. While the 350 may have a little more top end speed you will be faster on the 250 in the trails since it handles so much better.

Raptor 250 all the way - much better machine......... way better handling and ergonomics than the old Blaster....... plus 4-stroke reliability and simplicity........
