my new axel broke about 2 inches from the sproket side today, totally snapped in half on a small jump in about third gear ,half throttle, and landed pretty staight, has this happened to any of you guys?i have about ten grand in this quad and this really discourages me, i have seen bent but never seen a broken axel, sure it is under warranty, but i dont want another lifetime warrantied piece of $369 crap,i had been hitting the big doubles all day and was building the courage to hit the 75 foot triple, glad i didn't make it back around to try it,

That's why I went with Lonestar. I've saw Dura-goo bend and break with some really smooth looking landings..

Just kidding on the dura-goo thing.. I couldn't resist.

I too have heard of others breaking Durablue's. That's why I bought a Lonestar. Awesome piece. Very high quality. Fit perfectly. Much bigger in diameter than the stock axle. Went +4. Totally changed my Raptor's handling.

Same thing happened to me. Broke mine in the same place on my Raptor. Do not worry though, you can send your broke axle to Dura-blue for replacement......of course they will tell you they are out of stock and you will have to wait at least 2 month's for your replacement. I think it would be two months....I am still waiting on mine. Gary @ Durablue & Durablue blow's...

Get a titanium and see how it holds up, they are only $799 now. Seriously, when will you guys realize that DuraBlow and DG are the same crap heap company. I would reccomend a lonestar, or get a dominator from RPM.

I have had some bad landings with my Raptor, this saturday i over shot a double and landed sideways on my left rear tire ONLY. The Durablue axle is fine and I have had some similar bad landings while learning how to fly this bike. If I ever do break it, I will let you know, but I find it hard to believe that people are breaking it with less effort that I am doing.

I have personally posted many warnings on Durablue axles in both the Honda and Yamaha forums.... They have a real problems on Honda's as well, not even as strong as the stock axle.
