I have a 2001 400 big bear 4x4. I am getting no spark out of the spark plug. I have tested the coil. Even bought a new one and still no spark. I tried jumping it off and it won't crank being pulled by another atv. I tried the pull rope and still nothing. I can't figure it out. I know that someone on here is smart about these things. Please help, it's driving me crazy.

 

did you check to see if you have any lose or broken wires anywhere?

 

can't find any. But if the coil has power then what else could it be?

 

have you checked coil pick ups in motor i had screw com loose on my lt230 on killed the primary coil just a thought

 

where is the coil pick up at in the motor. Is it easy enough to get to for a novice mech.

 

i would try a new spark plug end first but as for the primary coil in motor you need to remove the motor cover by your shifter its easy im just new to this as well ,no spark is one of the worst to figure out theres a thing called a cdi box aslso most things you can check but not cdi box so ive been told hope you get it figured out good luck
