Default The Breaking In Process: How to ... ?

As some of you already know, I purchased a brand new Wolverine 450 4x4 the other weekend and I want to make sure I do everything right to extend the life of the machine.

What are the proper instructions or tips you can give me during the break in period, and how long should this break in period last for?

Thanks!

The biggest thing that you need to do is not let the ATV idle for long periods of time and while riding verry the thtottle. Dont blurp it but you want to go throught the whole engine RPM range not holding it in one cerintain area for long periods of time!

I rode mine for about 10 miles fairly easy then rode I like I normally would and just varied the throttle never holding it wide open or at any given spot for more than a couple of minutes. Just make sure you use the complete throttle range while you are breaking it in.
