raptor 250 or 350?

ok thanks. this might be a little too extreme but is a yfz450 too big/powerful? i know its a racing quad and all which is why im thinking its too much power for me.

Well, it might be, but my philosophy is that if you are a good rider, you can learn it slowly. You may have the power, but think of a rich old man and his corvette, he has the power, but doesn't use it. Just practice and it will not be scary anymore. I went from a 250ex to a banshee easily.

I've got a 07 SE 350 for sale. were are you located? The raptor 350 is faster in the woods than the 250, I raced the 07 that is for sale and a kid about your age had a 250 decked out and I walked away from him on the starts and in the woods.

How can tha 250 Raptor be even close to the 350? The 250 has the same motor as a 250 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valves Grizzly/Big Bear except with a 3mm bigger bore,making it a 249cc vs a 230. The 350 has the same motor that was used in a 350 Warrior and has longer suspension front and back and has a 6 speed vs the 250s 5 speed. The 250 has a 29mm carb while the 350 has a much larger 36mm. Even the 250 Utility uses a 33mm carb.
