Default 08 Big Bear Rear Brakes Are Shot

I purchased a used 08 and the rear brakes are shot. Apparently the previous owner packed mud around the rear brake linkage and burned up the brakes. I have adjusted all the way the up. I changed rear differential fluid and it was full of brake material so apparently all the brake disks are chewed up. Has anyone tackled replacing the rear brakes on an IRS?

Thanks

Damn thats a tough break considering these brakes are supposedly likely to last the lifetime of the bike . I have the same bike but can't help you out but hopefully one of the mechanics on here can .
