Default 2003 yamaha kodiak 400

I Have a 2003 yamaha kodiak and i believe i ran it with out oil or water also the oil drane plug that has the magnet in it had alot of little pieces of metal inside of it, it runs and starts normally but the engine has a loud nocking noise coming from inside,do you know what it is ??

Sorry bud, you most likely burned the crank bearing, and scuffed your cylinder walls, wrist pin, maybe valves

Your engine is cooked. Those shavings in the crankcase are proof of that.

Rebuild or replace my friend

yep if u run dry on oil your done. Completely rebuild the engine.
