Default Warrior wont run or idle

OK guys I'm stumped! Hears how it went down was riding it in -5 degree weather (not unusual for this winter)(its back up to 30's and same) but in my error ran out it out of gas filled it back up in the field and still would not start then gave it full throttle and it started and ran like crap like crap will not idle at all barely runs at full throttle but thats the only was to keep it running if you turn the gas off and hold it on it will eventually idle and run correctly of a few seconds right before it runs out of gas in the carb. I tore the carb apart today cleaned everything checked the plug it wasn't too bad so put it all back together and it still doest the exact same as if i did nothing so any ideas please

make sure all your jets are free of any crap. Whenever you run to the very bottom of an older gas tank, you suck in all types of ****. I experienced the same types of symptoms last spring.

You may have plugged up the screen on the petcock by running it empty, quick fix would be blowing it out with an air gun,but best thing would be to remove the tank, empty it, remove the petcock and make sure it isn't plugged.

you have sucked trash into the carb or plugged the valve from the tank. somewhere in the fuel path you will find the obstruction
