Traded in my 85 Honda Fourtrax 2wd 250 and got a nice 08 Kodiak 350 [US model is Grizzly 350]
any owners have a review or comments on this model? im not doing any heavy hauling or crazy mudding, just for bumpin along local trails etc. and having some fun on.
any must have accessories for this bike?
it comes with a winch and a plow.

I've seen a few guys out on the trails with the Grizzly 350s. They liked them and Yamahas seem to hold up very well.

no issues with power/lagging behind/not being capable with 350cc's?
i shouldnt think so as i could get pretty much anywhere with my lil 2fiddy that a guy on a 700 could [for the most part]

i have a grizzly 450, it's a pretty good machine and has a bit of power. i am suprised you got a 350 instead of a 450, there isnt much price difference, and you get a little bit more power out of the deal. other than that, i would reccomend skidplates, i have so far, an engine skid and cv guard skids. but i would get all skids. other than that, since you have a winch you really dont need anything because its a pretty good machine all around.

The 350 isn't going to keep up with the 500s but will probably get you up near 45 mph or so. It depends on what kind of riding you're doing. If it's slow and technical you should be fine. If it is wide open and you can really open it up it won't keep up with the bigger bores. I had a 250 cc 2-stroke that did great when on technical trails but not so good when you opened it up.

there will be no opportunity to exceed 35-40KM/h as this will be mostly technical/low speed woods riding.
This is primarily wy i got the 350.

Hey I just got a new '08 Kodiak 350 recently also and I'm going to sell my old TRX 250!

I think I have 180Kms on it so far in the last couple weeks and its been good. Really nice ride compared to the old TRX 250!!!! As for power yes busting a new trail in deep snow (foot) it could use more thats for sure. But it still gets you where you want to go. It has good ground clearance too which I like. I ride with my kids and they follow with the 150 so we are not going very fast anyway. Seems like a nice nimble and light quad. I also got a blade and winch with it.
