I think I am going to get shocks I was told that they will lower the raptor seat height 1.5-2inches. Also thinking of durablue lowering kit but I wasnt sure how it would hold up while racing/jumping etc... anyone who has put shocks on theres let us know if you noticed a differance on seat height of raptor.

I adjusted the stock shocks to the least preload setting in front and almost the same in back. This helps a little but I only weigh 155 lbs. That will have to do until I have the money for aftermarket shocks.

You can lower the bike a lot just by putting a tie-down strap on the rear grab bar and hooking it to the swingarm, then push down on the rear of the quad while pulling the slack out of the strap. This is kinda getto, but i see a lot of flat track guys doing it to stock quads as a cheap alternative to lowering the bike other ways.I know im gonna catch some about this but i just had to tell it.So dont rheme me out to bad for it

i got tcs all the way around, i didn't think that it lowered it that much until i learned the ride height adjustment procedure,it now sit 2 1/2 or 3 in. lower than stock, i compared it to a stock raptor and was pleased,my quad is extended plus 4 on the front and plus 5 on the rear and it is night and day diference

I ordered a set of Custom Axis fully adjustable shocks front and rear. They are supposed to increase wheel travel over an inch front and rear while also lowering ride height a few inches... we shall see...

18inch tires in the rear will lower everything... and 19inch tires on the front too. you might get hung up though if you ride rough trails.

i know on my banshee, from 18inch in the rear to 20inch rear tires, the 18's made me sit atleast 3 or 4 inches lower on the swingarm

You want to lower your Raptor, here is my suggestion. Go to the store, buy all the junk food and beer you can, set on the recliner and eat eat eat! After putting on 150 lbs, I am sure your bike will seat 2-4 inches lower. Sorry I just couldn't help myself. Have fun riding!
