Default Raptor 700 exhaust help

duals vs single on a pipe, intake, pc3 and dynatek bike only. no mods inside the engine. to me it looks like the duals give up very very very little on the bottom end and gain a ton up top! and u can tell by the a/f reading that both bikes were tuned right so its not the tune making the power.

Default Raptor 700 exhaust help

looks like right at 6k rpm the duals take over, other than that the single has the better curve, and thats the rossier pipe, id love to see the ron woods and sparks compared to the duals just for the hell of it.

Here's my opinion. If you're stock with no fuel controller, the best you can do is a slip on. Without a header most slip on's are going to run about the same performance (when I say the same I mean pretty much unnoticeable to the novice rider). For a full system or duels you're going to have to get yourself a fuel controller and get it on a dino. As to which full exhaust that depends on what you are doing with the bike. I ran the DMC comp4s on my 06 raptor (piston, stage two cam and K&N)and rode track and trail so I was looking for the hole shot and low end power getting out of the turns. That's where IMO the DMCs shine. If you read up on the reviews the DMC get a bad rap. Simply because the DMC's don't make the most power on the top end and that's what most of the reviews I have read focus on. But in my limited experience you don't use your top end that much on the track. It's easer (at least for me) to shift up and have manageable power then bounce off the revlimiter. Fact is if you hit 5th pinned on any of the tracks or trails I ride you're probably going to die.
If you plan to drag race that's a different story that some of the other guys can help you better with.

imo slip on are a 100% waste of cash. i can get 90% of the power a slip on would make for 0 dollars if u are not worried about having a spark arrester and like 20 if u are. the old dmcs not only made less peak hp they made less tq also. and they are a pita to install.fit and finish is lacking imo on the old dmc. now the new one have the best fit and finish ive seen in raptor 700 pipes. im really thinking of swiching my monster duals out with the new dmcs. and i would not do ANY mods without a fuel controller or imo u are asking to blow or serously limit the life of your engine. these raptor run a little lean from the factory.

every good dual exhaust setup is over 600. more like 675 up to over 900 bucks.

Slip ons on the raptors do very little for a power increase, the header is really restrictive as well. You'll only get about the same gains as just pulling the spark arrestor.

I have seen specials for the DMC and Barker duels as low as 575 from tech quad shop and KB motorsports. You can generally find a set a good used duels on raptor forum or modded partor for around $400 - $500. If you go that route, any of the duels (LTE, Barkers, DMC Force 4, DASA, and Monsters) are just as good as the others as far as power goes with the exception of the DMC afterburners but they are just slightly down on power.
