Lost my Key, HELP!!!!
#1
I have a 2004 Raptor 660r that has been down for about a year now. Well now i have it fixed (I think) but I cant find my key. Does anybody know how to get a replacement and/or how to bypass that for the time being? Any Info is much appreciated! Thanks

In the future, information like that might be better off sent as a Private Message.
Otherwise, you've just given a set of keys to everyones quad out there.

yeah dude thats all i did to my banshee and it runs like a champ never had a problem with it. i mean if you dont want to do it then you can just go to your yamaha dealer and talk to them about getting another key..

There is a code etched into the key housing assembly on the quad. Pull the key housing out and go to the dealer with the code, they will cut you a key. This is from personal experience, at the dunes and I lost the only key I had with me.

Thanks for the help guys, oddly enough a guess honest people who pay out the nose for their quads lose their keys sometimes too. God knows a thief would have to look on here to learn to splice to wires together huh? What happened to freedom of speach? This above is the perfect example!!!!

plus i dont get why he edited it. if you keep your quad where someone can take it then thats your fault. I keep mine locked up with 4 dogs haha try to get that. and if you can get it without getting bite and you make it past my gun then you can have it.

My point exactly. It did work yes a just spiced them together didn't even cut them just added a small third wire and put it back on. Looks the same but doesn't need a key! If you can get past the dogs and guns your free to take my quad!!!! LOL
