2004 (and others?) Wolverine tail light upgrade
well in a few hours i went from broke cheap tail light to a much better choice.. you decide. the cool part is i bought it from napa and had it done in a few hours..
soo here goes
i bought this 3x5 tail light and harness from my local napa part # 4550 for the tail light and # 94993 for the wire pigtail
i found i had to cut out a spot in the plastic houseing for the "glove box" as we all know its not waterproof anyways.
i used a keyhole saw to cut the opening it seemed to work well.
to my amazement the light fits snugly in the 3x5 opening
i attached the wires to there rightfull places
and reinstalled the box and what a diffrence i like the almost flush mount and much stronger light houseing design in the led
sorry about the photos they were all done with a cell phone..

For a cell phone, pretty good pictures!! I wonder if you could use some silicone sealant to help seal up any open areas for water sealing?? With the three wires, I assume it is a tail and brake light. Does the 2004 Wolverine have a brake light? I don't on my 95, but would like to hook one up as a project. How much did that light set you back?

the light and harness were only 35 bucks.. i thought about sealing arround it but figured it would just hold in more gunk than is needed.. the light itself is waterproof and so is the plug connector so im not worried. im not sure when they started putting the "stop" feature in wolvie's but yes i have a break light (its just a motorcycle stop light switch connected to the break peddal via a spring.. if you know anyting about wiring you might be able to add it
