warriors are very reliable and easy to work on, parts easy to get, overall there nice trail quads, there a little on the heavy side being over 400lbs, as for speed they do around 50ish, even with all the mods mine has it still does 55-60mph the way i have it geared, there suspension is just for trails and such they cant take any big jumps or hitting any tracks, the only things that get messed up on warriors most commonly are the electrical parts, mostly the stator on them goes out, other things about them they are aircooled 6 speed clutch, 350.anything else you wanna lemme know ill try to answer.

what type of terrain would u say that they are best in and least best in because where i live its all hard dirt or mud there is no median and to get to the trails its a pretty steep hill thats all mud and my lt230s can do it but my neighbors blaster cant even come close

Warriors will run about 58mph all stock out of the box. The motor has been in use by Yamaha for over twenty years, largely unchanged, due to its reliability. They are about as good of a sport bike you can find to run through mud and what not, and they are great for hill climbing because the motor is placed farther forward than they are in most newer quads.

yea a warrior would be a good choice, a 400ex would also be a great choice for you.

yup warriors do have reverse, for $1000 it should run fine but maybe have few cosmetic flaws, if it runs a little rough and it looks bad then id push for $800, what year is it?
