Well, my friend just got new rims and tires for his Grizzly and I absolutely love them and it totally changes the look of his machine. The other nice thing about it is it gives him some extra clearance in the back as well.

I told myself I was not going to get rims for my quad, but now I am looking into buying some in the near future. The question I have is what size is the max that I can put on my machine, and what are the tires that I should get.

I see some ITP Mudlite XTR's and also some Maxxis on the site as well.

If you go to rockymountainatvmc you can see which ones they have available. I do all terrain riding, so one day we could be hitting up just trials and the next day we could be climbing rocks and such.

What is the best tire for me?

And also, I am looking at the Rattlesnake rims if you guys are wondering which ones I plan to get.

 

Dunlap I put a set of Douglas Rattlesnakes on my wolverine. I till try to post some pics tonight. I used the stock tires that came on it. Didnt want to have to pay for new tires too. Wish now I had. Would be nice to have a little bigger tire for some more clearence.

yo dude put the tires on the web i would also like to see them i got an 2007 i just bought do you think i could fit 10 inch wide rims in 25x8x12 front terra cross tires because thats what i ordered i hope they fit

Wow, those look awesome on the Wolverine. Also, where did you get that rack from on the back?

I love my Wolverine. I've had several atv's and the Wolverine 450 is my favorite by far.

How much did you pay for your rims may I ask?

 

The rims were around 260. I think. Its been awhile. The rack on the back I made. Im a toolmaker/ designer so I just made it myself. I just welded it to the rear grab bar.

I am getting ready to purchase the tire and wheel package, but I would like to know what tire to put on them. I want something that is good all around, and has some nice traction at the same time. What should I get?
