Default Wolverine Lift Kit problem

I just got a perfex 2inch lift for my 06 wolverine 450. I installed it, the back bracket worked fine. The front brackets are right up against the tires. why??? is this normal? i can't drive it like that of course. do these kits require either wheel spacers or aftermarket wheels with a larger backspacing? and if so, which should i do? i plan to put 26" mud tires, not sure which brand or tire width. any help would be appreciated

right now, the stock 23" tires are being used. it rubs the sidewall of the tire. a longer shock might work, but i wanted to make this way work. it sucks that perfex is the only kit out there for the wolverine. the stock wolverine ground clearance is way to low.

i actually bought it from someone on this forum who had 2 kits. 1 of the kits he had already installed on his bike which i saw in person and it worked fine b/c he had aftermarket wheels. (he had two kits b/c of a mistake by the manufacturer and i checked, and they are the same kit, just to clarify) so i think its an issue with the stock wheels

i used that pic to help with my install and the factory tire sidewall sits about 1/16" away from that bracket and goes right into the tire when turning the wheel. the gap does get a little bigger sitting on the ground or putting weight on the quad but when the shocks travel and when turning, its going to rub pretty bad

i think most aftermarket companys over look the wolverine and raptor 350 .just use some 25 outlaws or xl mudlites.you could maybe fabricate your kit a little to your specific needs

i think i'm either going to go with factory wheels with 26" tires and 1 1/2 inch spacers or go with afermarket wheels with a different backspacing

Default Perfex lift Kit

My bracket looks nothing like the bracket in you picture miassmaro I have about 3 inches of space between my tire and the closest part of the bracket. I have had my lift kit for about 1 1/2 years with no issues. How long ago did you order the kit and are you positive the kit you got was for the wolverine 450?
