Grizzly 660 clutch help
My buddy's '04 Grizz 660 may be having clutch problems.
He put 28's on it when he bought it new, has never made any adjustments or changes to the clutch, and it now has 1800 miles on it. We replaced the belt about a year ago.
Unfortunately my friend is mechanically inept, and lives too far away for me to help him diagnose or fix the problem, but I'm hoping to keep him from getting hosed by the dealership when he takes it in yet again to be repaired.
He says it makes a grinding and or rattling noise when it runs.
What would be a good aftermarket clutch kit to install to help the Grizz handle the bigger tires, and what condition do the factory clutch parts need to be in to still use them with the aftermarket parts?
Never done a centrifugal clutch/tranny replacement myself, but I know it's not too difficult, so I won't need the process simplified down to a basic/beginner level explanation.
Any help/advice/info would be greatly appreciated
