Banshee out of Commission
#1
So I got in trouble and my banshee key was taken while I was at school by my mom. Now she goes on vacation for a few weeks and my friends are having a big ATV party. I really don't want to resort to hotwiring this thing so it there a way I can get her to run without doing that?
My only idea would be picking the lock, but Idk exactly how ATV locks work, I don't want to miss this party, can I get a few tips to help me out :-P
Cmon, u all had to do something like this before!

Don't expect any answers, something similar to this came up a while back and it really isn't a good idea to promote or tell how to pick or hot wire an ATV ignition on a public forum. Just look at some wiring diagrams, you can figure it out.

LOL sorry bout ur luck.... my suggestion would be to trying to strike up some kinda bargain with your mom..... like her making a list of things you could do in exchange for your key back... hotwiring or pickin the lock will only get you in more trouble. If she busts you for doing that she might up and sell it on you since you arent showing the machine or her the proper respect.

Its easy. Follow the wires comming from were you put the key in. There is a quick disconnect. Disconnect it and it bypasses the key. Start it up and ride. Dont crash or your mom will be pissed.

on my old 200 honda, i took off the part of the ignition that the key went in, left it wired up, but when i got it off, all i needed to start it with was a flat tip. the peice that you need to put the key in is just sitting in another peice that you can just turn to cut it on. atleast that worked for me.
