WHERE ARE ALL THE BANSHEE RIDERS???

well i can anwser that question easily, their all in the garage rebuilding their engines....lol

but seriously i love banshees, just never could afford one and when i finnaly got up the money, they had already stoped making them... i love my 4-stroke but the banshee is still king-of-the-dunes in my book.</end quote></div>

Better than having a 4 poke that you gotta take to the stealership to get rebuilt

Gaskets, pistons, bore and hone, wristpin bearings, and labor (which is free) costs me less that 300 bucks. Good luck finding a 4poke rebuild that cheap.

u can rebuild a raptor for about 300 bucks. gastets, piston and cam. ill give u that the labor will take a little longer but still can be done by a person.

I agree with JLsparky7. One very good thing about 2-strokes is that there is nothing to rebuild them. It can be done in half the time at half the cost of a 4-stroke.

And despite popular belief they don't need rebuilt THAT often. Had one 5 years old never rebuilt. And by the way, It would smoke my yfz and 700R's with comparable mods. The 700 would always catch up when it was shifting into 5th but, until that point it couldn't take her.

It's sad to see two strokes fading out of existence, if it weren't for machines like the Banshee,Quadzilla and 250r today's modern sport quads would suck. The Banshee is a timeless design with one of the most unique motors ever. The sad thing is it never had any major updates, the suspension was average, as was the handling. But you guys tell me this, is there more pride in beating a four stroke, or a Banshee?

Thanks for most of you agreeing with me. In my opinion half the fun is working on and moding the quad, other half is riding it. My shee has A LOT of suspension work done so it handles better than %98 of the quads out there.

I have noticed alot of punk kids with four strokes have came to sites like these to brag about the quads they got from mommy and daddy. Dont get me wrong; the 450's and raptors are very nice and fast, and there are some respectable people that do ride them on this site. However the punk kids voices are much louder than the wiser riders.

Stock raptors are fast but i beat plenty on my shee. My budy has a piped raptor 720 and i beat it with my shee when i only had a milled head and FmF knarleys on my banshee. Raptors are Wayyy more fun in trails though. I started out with a 350 I love them! But in the drag the 450rs are the ones i cant screw around with. My other budy has a piped yfz 450r and it beats the raptor aswell. My banshee is all set of for drags now so it would suck in tight trails lol. 4-strokes are the future though. even though they still make 2009 model banshees in canada!
