Default How do I know when my Warrior valves need adjusting?

I bought my 02 Warrior about 9 months ago and probably have a total of 15-20 hours on it since then. It runs perfect and I have no complaints. How do I know when the valves need to be adjusted?

Thanks,

i usually check them every 6 months or so, when there in need of adjusting i can hear the difference myself, it might be a good idea to go ahead and check them now to be safe, .004 intake .006 exhaust if i remember right, is what they should be.

Unfortunately, I don't have a manual. Any write ups on how to check and adjust the valves? No doubt I can do it, just not sure what the actual process is.

thanks,

The link doesn't work. Does it still work for you or is their website down?

Thanks

I found it, Thanks!

After downloading it though, I remembered that my dad got a copy of a service manual when he bought the quad.... DOH! But it is at his house, and the quad is at my house. I'll have to make a new post with my issues.

Couple signs of the valves needing to be adjusted.
Poor power
Poor cold starting
Backfiring
Loud ticking (louder than normal valve operation)
Poor fuel efficiency (burning way too much gas)
